You'll need a 3G or 4G compatible phone to use SMARTY. Not sure if your device is 3G or 4G? No worries...

Follow these steps to find out:

  • Dial *#06# on your phone to display your IMEI number.
  • Go to, enter your IMEI number and select Check.
  • You’ll see a report. Look at the LTE section – it will display all the frequencies that your phone is capable of using.

Our 4G service runs on the 800MHz and 1800MHz frequencies, so if you see either 800 or 1800 in that column, your phone is 4G compatible. We currently don’t support Supervoice (VoLTE) or WiFi calling so voice calls will only work over 3G. We’re hoping to offer these services in the near future. 

Our 3G service runs on the 2100MHz frequency so if you see the number 2100, your phone is 3G compatible.
