Sorting out the affairs of a loved one who has passed away can be very distressing. We’ll do everything we can to make this as painless as possible.

As a family member or friend, you’ve got a few options. You can just ask us to close the account via web chat, or you could get a PAC code and move the account under your name.

Just please be aware that we can’t discuss any specific account details until we’ve received confirmation that the account holder has passed away. 

We know that this is inconvenient, but it’s a legal requirement that’s designed to protect our customers’ personal details.
