By 1 July 2019, you'll be able to switch mobile providers without any hassle.

If you'd like to join SMARTY and keep your existing number, you'll need to get a PAC from your current network.

To do this, simply text 'PAC' to 65075. You'll be sent a PAC within a minute.

If you’d like to join SMARTY and don’t want to bring your number, you will need to request a STAC from your current provider. 

To do this, simply text ‘STAC’ to 75075. You’ll be sent a STAC within a minute. 

Once you have your PAC or STAC, you'll need to log into your SMARTY dashboard and head to the Account Settings page. Click on 'Enter my PAC or STAC code', and the on-screen instructions will show you how to enter your PAC/STAC, and the number you want to transfer.

What is a PAC or STAC?

A PAC is Porting Authorisation Code and can be used to bring your number to SMARTY. The code is valid for 30 days. 

A STAC is Service Termination Authorisation Code and can be used to cancel your old number. The code is valid for 30 days. 

How long will it take to receive my PAC or STAC? 

Once you’ve requested your PAC or STAC, you’ll receive it within a minute. 

How long will it take for my number to transfer? 

Once your number transfer has been scheduled, it can take up to one business day for your number to transfer. This could take longer over weekends or bank holidays.
