Sorting the affairs of a loved one who has passed away can be very distressing. We’ll do everything we can to make this as painless as possible.

As a family member, next of kin, solicitor or friend, you can ask us to close the account via web chat. We do require a copy of the customers death certificate to verify this, so please have this ready when you chat with us.

Please be aware that we can't transfer the ownership of a loved one's account to another person's name. We know that this is inconvenient, but it’s a legal requirement that’s designed to protect our customer's personal details.

Our team on web chat are available from 8am-8pm 7 days a week. Just look for the green chat icon 👇
