STAC stands for Service Termination Authorisation Code. This helps you switch over to SMARTY and get a brand new number by cancelling the old one.
To switch your services to us and cancel the previous number, you'll need a STAC. It can be used at anytime - when you join SMARTY or even after you've joined.
