Updating your payment method

Learn how to update your payment method

Are you looking to update your payment method in the app or on the website? We've made it really easy 👇

App 📲

  1. Open the SMARTY app and tap ‘You 🙂’ in the bottom right corner.

  2. Go to Account Settings

  3. Then select Payment Settings.

  4. Here, you’ll see your current payment methods and Auto-Renew status.

To add a new payment method:

  • Tap Add Payment Method.

  • Note: This won’t remove your existing payment method.

To replace your current payment method:

  1. Tap Auto-Renew Settings and disable Auto-Renew.

  2. You’ll then see: “Still remember card details?”

  3. Tap Don’t Allow – this will delete your current payment method.

  4. Go back and add your new payment method.

  5. Be sure to re-enable Auto-Renew if you want your plan to renew automatically.

Web 💻

  1. Head to your dashboard and click Account settings

  2. Untick auto-renew and Securely store your card details for future payments

  3. Save these changes by clicking Update payment settings

  4. Now, no details are stored so you can go back into your Payment settings and enter new details

  5. Remember to click auto-renew and Securely store your card details for future payments if you want your plan to renew automatically each month! 💸
