SMARTY and eSIM – It's Here 🚀📱

We’re excited to let you know that eSIM is now available at SMARTY.

If you’re an existing SMARTY customer, you can swap your physical SIM for an eSIM right now.


New customers will be able to order an eSIM when they join SMARTY.

What is an eSIM? 📱

An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your device. There's no need to insert a physical card.

It’s quick and easy to set up.

Most newer smartphones, tablets and laptops support eSIM. Some older devices might not.

How do I get an eSIM? 💌

Before requesting an eSIM, it's a good idea to make sure your device supports eSIM. You can easily check:

  • Dial *#06# on your phone. If you see an EID number, your device supports eSIM.

You can also check in your device settings:

Android 🤖

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs

iPhone 🍏

Go to Settings > General > About and look for an EID field

If you're still unsure, we recommend checking directly with your device manufacturer or referring to their support site.

Once you’ve confirmed your device is eSIM compatible, you’re ready to request your eSIM.

Existing Customers 👤

Already with SMARTY? You're halfway there. Just log in to your SMARTY dashboard and request a SIM swap to eSIM. It’s that simple.

New Customers ✨

To get an eSIM, head to our website and choose your plan. Before you enter your details, you’ll be asked to choose a SIM type. Just select eSIM and carry on with your order. It’s that easy.

What you’ll receive when you order an eSIM 📨

Once you’ve ordered your eSIM, we’ll send you an email with everything you need to get set up.

In the email, you’ll receive:

  • A QR code and activation code
    The QR code is the easiest way to add your eSIM. Just scan it with your phone to start setup.

    If you cannot scan the QR code, you can use the activation code instead to set up your eSIM manually.

The email also includes clear, step by step instructions to guide you through installing your eSIM.

Your confirmation code 🔐

During setup, you’ll be asked to enter a 4 digit confirmation code. Where you find this depends on how you ordered your eSIM.

If you’re replacing a physical SIM with an eSIM

Your 4 digit confirmation code is in your SMARTY dashboard. If it does not appear straight away, try logging out and back in again.

If you’re a new SMARTY customer

You’ll receive your 4 digit confirmation code in a second email. It will not appear in your dashboard.

⚠️ Important
The confirmation code used during setup is not the same as any code shown in the QR code email.

Make sure you’re using the correct 4 digit confirmation code, either from your dashboard or the second email.
